Is there enough interest for another bag of the Ethiopian Shanta Golba? Reply with how much you would buy, but don't send any money! This is a test, and only a test. If I get commitments close to 100lbs, I'd buy another bag. I have people asking already. CHAD Edited by seedlings on 02/03/2009 10:14 AM Roaster: CoffeeAir II 2# DIY air roaster

If you bet high, $0.20/lb increase, that would be an extra dollar on the total. CHAD Roaster: CoffeeAir II 2# DIY air roaster

It's really delicious stuff. If I didn't still have 9 pounds left, I'd buy more. |

When Ginny's 2oz sample baga arrive i will roast about a pound and distribute samples to my potential customers and ask them to try it. My Customer # 2 told me that this is like a drug pusher giving someone a complimentary needle and supplies and telling them to try. He is already requesting his free sample on the phone ad has recommeded a coffee shop owner to please make my coffee available.

Chad, Zephr coffee also lists a kochere DP on their offerings list. Maybe the group would buy into a full bag of that in order to compare with your first offering. That way we can all taste them side by side.a

Right now I'm researching what to get for the next bag, but since BoldJava Dave is about to give us an offering, I thought I'd hold out just a little bit. When asked the coffees they favor at Zephyr, the rep replied with this list: Ethiopia FTO natural Sidamo shanta golba Ethiopia washed Sidamo Guji Panama Carmen Estate Panama Paso Ancho Costa Rica Organic Helsar Estate Brazil Moreninha Foremosa Raisin (Not the same one) He didn't mention the Kocherre DP... hmm? I'd like to know if it's worth almost double the price of the Moreninha Formosa I bought a couple of months ago at $1.77/lb compared to $3.35/lb for the Raisin. I have the regular version, so I'll let you know. Good tree-dried coffee is rare.
