Well, I have been plugging away at the Coffee/Roasting room. Yesterday I installed all the recycled tops and bases I salvaged from a renovation project I just completed @ the University of Massachusettes. The table in the middle will eventually be the cupping table. Lots of storage underneath for both green bins and other misc. Someday it will done, likely just in time for it to become the laundry room..;) Happy Monday everyone. Sean

Very nice space! Puts my 4' counter to shame! You need one of these flourescent signs, tons of them on ebay for cheap. My g'kids insist that it be lilt before we make "kid cappucinos." |

In addition to the neon you need a bunch of colorful burlap bean bags on the wall but not too close to the roaster furnace section.:up-late: 1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana

Dan- Thanks, definitely need some neon. That is a great sign. Ginny- Just send the ticket in about February, I'll be ready for some sun by then.. Alan- I was thinking coffee bags for the walls. Just need to derive some sort of stretcher to attach them to, on the cheap/free. Edited by Unta on 09/05/2011 8:22 PM Sean Harrington

That looks like a nice workspace Sean. How will you be venting?

Thanks JH, Venting is through the drywall wall which bisects my basement. There is a cyclone collector and ducting that exits through a framed opening in my bulkhead. I had 10' walls poured im my basement, so my basement celings finish out at about 9'6 clear. This allows me to cheat with the venting and the piping doesn't effect the head clearance. When I want to roast I just open the bulkhead door. Sean Sean Harrington

My roaster would be even more precarious setting on a 5 gallon bucket. I thought a room would be a better fit... Sean Sean Harrington
