Admittedly non purist;) ...I'm looking for a creamer with a neutral flavor. Suggestions? Organic and no BS ingredients. Maybe I'm asking too much ?;)

During my time working at a roastery in Boulder I got to taste many a brand of half and half. Most half and half I've experienced includes an unnatural off-taste/taint that varies depending on time of year, what kind of mood the dairy crew are in etc.

What I've found consistently works is buying whipping cream (not the foam in the can) and whole milk and blending to taste. Don't use the extra heavy.

I've very seldom found the usual half and half taint when mixing my own.

Interesting. My GF uses heavy whipping cream. It's too strong for me but It's unclear if i was tasting taint or just not used to it. Anytime I switch to a different creamer, all I taste is the creamer til I get used to it.
