I live about 30 miles west of Boston. Here are a few scenes from this morning. I had to take the photos through the storm door, I can't open it. In one photo is my new 2015 Subaru forester on the left. Fortunately, I have twin 19 year old sons with me to help. Power is still on, winds not as strong as on the coast. Fun Fun Fun!

When that storm came through here, a few days ago, it had some rain dropping on us with a dusting of snow. You got all that was left, but a lot colder from the Canadian wind. Hope you have enough to stay home for a while. Best to you. We had another light snowfall yesterday and last night. Mind you we live in the mountains of NC, we don't have many flat areas in the whole county. The road that goes up further than our cabin has a power sliding gate. Someone decided to drive down, got going on the ice, and tore the gate to the fully open position, by bending it 90 degrees. 3 inch metal pipe frame. I'd like to see the paint job on the car/truck that did it. Oh, this is the same road we toboggan down some time. Winter fun, gotta love it. Ken in NC --------------

Balmy 33º No rain, no snow. Predictions of some but I doubt it highly as it is gone from our area now. Mick - "Drinking in life one cup at a time"

2 feet of snow here in Connecticut. 3 1/2 foot snow drifts. Below zero temps during the night. ![]() Just a dusting. The day after the "dusting" my wife and I spent over 2 hours snowblowing the driveway with our new "old vintage" 4 cycle Simplicity paddle snowblower. Beats any new one out there. I kept my hands from turning blue by periodically putting my leather gloved hands on the exhaust pipe for 5 seconds at a time. Worked like a charm. ![]() Len "If this is coffee, please bring me some tea but if this is tea, please bring me some coffee." ~Abraham Lincoln

When I moved, I had to leave my Ariens behind. Now, I will have to get another. Another storm headed this way with 8-12 more inches. Len, do you have one of these Simplicity from the 70's? I have heard good things about them.
