Wanted- Fresh Roast Coffee roaster
tag1260
I would like to buy a nice second hand Fresh Roast roaster. SR500 or SR 700. Can need a lid or chamber replaced if needed but the main fan/heater assembly must be in good working condition. If you're thinking of trading up and want to sell your old roaster, let me know. Thank you

How much $$$$ are you looking to spend? I'm asking in order to better aid you in your search.

Here's an SR500 re-manufactured base for $79.99 https://homeroast...tured-base

You might want to hold off until next month when the new SR540 is scheduled to be released. I guess they will also be making an 8oz freshroast. https://homeroast...amp;page=2

Thanks but I'm not looking for necessarily the latest greatest one out there. Just need to upgrade a little bit from my hot air popper for more control.

I'm looking to spend +/- $100 or so for one depending on condition and model.

Thanks

Is not that hard to re-wire the heater of such appliance.
I did for Nesco, nothing fancy, just replaced the coil.
However, if clock is driven from mains frequency instead a digital oscillator, you could expect to have all timings longer by 60/50. Same for fan speed, if not a DC motor...

It looks like they only do 120. Fresh Roast occupies the countertop home roaster market, and as an American company they know that most American countertops have 120.
I'm looking forward to the 8oz Fresh Roast. Hopefully they will get their RC scorching issues squared away.

Edit: I emailed customer service and they said that right now there are no plans for anything other than 120v. The new SR580 will be the 8oz Fresh Roast.
