Heat gun flour sifter roaster
OzzzEsprezzz
Hi,

I'm new to this forum but I would like to share my build log on here.

After finishing a Gaggiuino mod on my Gaggia Classic I took the next step into the home-roasting rabbit hole.

I started with a 600w rotisserie which I modded but its nearly impossible to get any stable temps.

After having contact with Larry Cotton I decided to build myself a wobble disk roaster.

All the parts are ordered, most from AliEx some local.

I decided to use a digital heat gun with adjustable temp and fan which I'm going to disassemble, extend some wires for ease of use.

Adding a K-type thermocouple for inside the sifter for some bean temp control.

I have looked at Artisan control but for now I'm not sure how to implement it (maybe someone has some useful tips on that for me)

I searched this forum to get some info on the how to roast with similar setups like starting temp, fan speed etc. But I can't seem to find any, if someone has some pointers for me it would be appreciated.

I will be updating this thread as my build progresses.
