It looks like a good source for roasted beans but I did not see any green coffee for sale on the site.

Hey guys, for those of you still looking for new green coffee vendors, Yuni Coffee Co. ( www.yunicoffeeco.com ) is now offering their beans from Laos in small easy to order volumes for home roasters.
From our 2020 harvest we have 3 offerings (2 washed and 1 natural) which we have made available direct to home roasters in the US in 2, 5, 10, and 20lb boxes, or get a sample box to try them all!

Hi guys, if you are in the market for Specialty Kenyan Coffee check out ShopZabuniCoffee.Com . Zabuni was launched in Nov 2019 and I believe has the widest selection of Specialty Kenyan coffee in the US. The smallest quantity you can buy is 2lbs and as much as your needs dictate. Zabuni is based out of Grand Island, Ne.
I think the most unique thing about Zabuni is that not less than 80% of what the buyers pay for the green coffee goes back to the farmer at origin. Try them you will not regret it. Added bonus free shipping on green coffee........ always!

Has anyone dealt with Smokin Beans Coffee? I have a hankering for some Queen City Harrar and that's the only place I can find it right now.
https://www.smoki...
One pound is pricey at $9.90 but the 5 pound bag is only $7.35 a pound

Thanks OldMan from another old man :). The main thing I'm concerned about is the quality of their beans.

Well I'm not skilled at all of this. But I monitor the beans moisture content.
If they say size 16 - 17 bean size. They're not, then they blended or are offering a mix of beans from the region.
But charging for better grade than giving.
Haven't had any stale beans or dryer than 10% to 14%.

Nah.... Really, there is no shortage of good suppliers. All of the amazon links in those "reviews"... thumbdown Can't be mad at them for trying to get affiliate link $. I have no interest in buying greens from Amazon with the other suppliers around. Sweet marias, happy mug, klatch, theta ridge..... There are probably a dozen suppliers I wouldn't hesitate to buy from, little reason to risk iffy quality and price elsewhere

I have bought beans from Smokin Beans about 4 times now and have been very happy with both service and quality.

I have bought several times from this guy now since he started. I used to buy when he was 'otherwise affiliated'.

The below was from last November.

Hi Ken
I hope this email finds you healthy. I just wanted to let you know that I've added a few new green coffees to my online store including:
- the famed "Misty Valley" natural Ethiopian
- from Colombia, a really terrific pink bourbon and a great washed geisha
- a natural from El Salvador from an up and coming producer
- and my breakout favorite, a lactic processed bean from Colombia.

I've also added some new features to the website:
- Gift cards which should come in handy for the holidays.
- A referral program. There's a link (labelled "Your Referral URL" that you can copy from the dashboard on your account page. When you share it with someone who makes a purchase you'll get a coupon code good for 10% off of your next order.
- A points based loyalty system. When you buy coffee, you earn points which can be redeemed later for discounts.

Finally, I'm looking to add a few new origins, so if you have any requests, please let me know and I'll see if something good is available.

Thanks

Jim

Hi,
I want to buy green coffee beans. But how do I know if the quality of the coffee beans I am buying is good or not?

A lot of people buy from well-known places like Sweet Maria's and others. Here is a great video my friend made on what you need to consider when looking for a vendor.

My Favorite Green Coffee Vendor Sweet Maria?s. it?s the best place to buy unroasted coffee beans if you?re looking for variety, price range, and quality. It has a large list of beans from almost every country available in an extensive array of flavors, profiles, drying methods, and bean types.

I recently started using Bunafr.com. Their coffee is quite phenomenal compared to others. Interesting to see they share profiles for certain roasters too which I haven't seen anyone do it before.
