Espresso Bombers VIDEO ADDED!
seedlings
1- Glass Sierra Mist
1- Espresso Shot (or double)

Find some 12-14oz glasses (important*), and it looks real cool if they're tall, narrow glasses. Add 8oz Sierra Mist. Warn the customer, then put the glass of soda in front of them. Do not pull the shot until the "customer" is ready. Pull the shot and drop the shot, glass and all into the cup of Sierra Mist, *causing the soda to start frothing. Immediately the customer is to "slam" the entire drink. Hooting, hollering and double-dog-dares from the crowd usually promote the proper environment.

Great fun!

Merry Christmas,
CHAD

Alright Chad,

You really, really, REALLY have my curiosity going with this one.

How does it taste? Is it more for taste or just the cool effects? You have to down it right away? Help me.....:@ I want to try it Grin

All of the above! It tastes great! Your non-straight-espresso-drinking friends who think espresso is bitter and nasty will LOVE this. The percieved "bitterness" of the espresso is transformed by the very sweet Sierra Mist into a frothy, sweet coffee drink. It looks great and tastes great. And, yes, you have to down it right away or you lose the dare. Do it this way... get two competative volunteers. Set up glasses with Sierra Mist. Pull two singles and drop them simultaneously with each participant challenged to consume faster than the other! I have a naked portafilter, so this requires pulling two shots back to back, but it's OK if one sits for :30 for this drink.

It's great fun, great tasting, all the way around. You have to at least try one... >ahem< SLAM one yourself!

Everyone I'm telling is looking at me sideways, but they know they can trust me when it comes to coffee. Once I try it, I'm letting you know....put it on YouTube or something.

Mountain Dew? Sprite? 7up? Maybe Fresca, but I dont' think it's sweet enough.

Must be carbonated, not just lemonade made with lemons, sugar and water. You'll lose the whole effect.

To my humble thought-provokers :).

I tried it! Woah....funky :). I actually looked and looked for Sierra Mist and could NOT find it. Have no clue why, they stop making it? So I had to settle for Sprite. I agree Chad, something a little sweeter would probably make it way better. Sprite was a little bit too lemon-lime. Now that I think of it, 7up is a little more sweet than Sprite so I'm done yet...

Woo-HOO!

I'll pick some Sierra Mist up on the way home. I need a jolt before band practice tonight anyway. Maybe I'll post it as you said on YouTube...

Here's the deal,

I can't pull a shot here, so I went to my coffee shop the first time. Obviously we all know shots get bitter real fast. To try to be as clever as I could, I had her pull a double and throw a small amount of whipped cream on top. Trying to prolong the bitterness I ran home. It takes about five minutes to get home from there. It was too long, I dropped the glass in the glass, made a mess and it was too late. It was bitter and---bitter.

I knew I needed another shot at it. I ran into the shop again. This time it was late and the girl working is a friend of mine. I brought the glasses and Sprite in and smiled at her. She was like, now what are you thinking? We tried it again, this time with only five seconds in between. I loved it, smooth, rich...it was really good :). I loved it, my buddy loved it. My dad is still blowing out his nose.
