Leo is adorable Kosmo. I feed both of mine a raw diet, 90% at least. They thrive on raw meat, veggies and pasta/rice plus bones from the BBQ. -g time to post current pics of my mutts, thanks for the update on your puppies. ![]() |

We have a 14 year old "blanket Anchor" that is our constant companion. she is snoring beside me on the sofa as I write this. It's going to be hard when she leaves us as out of all the dogs we have owned over the past half century this one is something else. Fremiet has her own website, yea she is a cool hip pooch even though she is a grey old lady now http://fremiet.com/ . Mick - "Drinking in life one cup at a time"

One thing to take into consideration regarding tortoises; unlike dogs, cats, and people, tortoises evolved to fit very specific environments like a key fits a lock. They are not capable of adapting to significant changes in diet, temperature ranges, humidity, etc. Successful long-term care of a tortoise requires careful species-specific research and appropriate control of dietary and environmental factors, and even then constant observation for problems and continuous improvement. Not a path I would have taken, knowing what I know now. But we have learned a lot; "We called him a 'tortoise' because he taught us.", as CL Dodgeson noted. So many beans; so little time.... |
