Eggstractor coffee grinds remover
Here is something I have been using for a while to blow out the burr chamber on my Mazzer Mini. B)

This is what it looks like on the shelf in a store:

They show up in thrift stores for about fifty cents. Usually unused, but all you need is the bellows section anyway:

It is a pretty simple device.
Here is a pic of the bottom:

It works great on My Mazzer Mini.
Just remove the hopper, place the bellows on the adjustment ring and pump a few times.

It also fits on the Mazzer Major:

You may have noticed the one on the Major is longer...

I found two at two different times, in two different thrift stores.
Each were fifty cents a piece.
I guess they come in different sizes, but they work the same.

looks like a pump thing sort of.
I wonder if a clean toilet plunger might work too, one of those black ones with the extension on it, slip it in there and give it a push or two.

interesting either way....

If it has starbucks beans stuck in it... there would be no need to use a clean plunger. I don't think the taste would change s:8
But, what a waste of a perfectly good plunger.Grin
Thanks, peterz, for another fine contribution. Just what I need for my Major. I've been smacking mine with a cupped hand, but this is just what I'm looking for. I guess size does matter sometimes.

Originally I was looking for one of those accordian collapsible storage containers that were popular on infomercials a few years ago. :|

This showed up instead, and it works great. ;)

In a hardware store I did see a very small plunger, totally out of lucite and silicon rubber I guess..... c:4
A designer plunger about a foot long. s:4

It would work also, but more expensive... :(

and too much of a conversation starter.s:3

LOL! Say, you can still find accordian fold bottles at photography stores. They are used to keep O2 from developer chemicals. And, they are coffee brown!

only as seen on TV and the Forum...

we rule.
