Dropped off a couple boxes of donation at the local charitable thrift... Like the rest of you, I couldn't help but swing through just to see if any good stuff was on the shelves. JACKPOT!!! 5 cup vacpot brewer (identical to yama - needs new cloth filter assy) braun gold tone mesh filter in box toastmaster 1200 watt popper wearever popcorn pumper IN BOX 1250watt 1.5 liter airpot with pump Grand total: $17.80 So excited, just had to share! John, I hadn't. Can I use any of the Cory rod variety? My understanding is the coarse finish/grooves on the rod serve to hold back the grounds. I one I found is IDENTICAL to my 5 cup Yama -- that uses the cloth filter. I'd love to try a cory-rod. I'll check ebay. DavidG europiccola | yama + coryrod | chemex | AP | clever
