http://maps.googl...e&z=19 If you think you'd like to let everyone know where you are from in a visual way. I've started an HRO Google map. I added my location, with just the town I live in. Thought it might be a cool way to see where everyone is from . How To Post your Location click the link above click save to my maps. log in to your google Acct. click edit then click the add a placemark icon on the map. Place icon in your town on your road where ever you would like to associate with your self. the click save and then done! If you dont have a goole account and would like your placemark fixed id be happy to do it for you. Just send me a PM. Sean Edited by Unta on 01/31/2011 5:36 PM Sean Harrington

I think we all just need to save the same map.. click the link above and save the map to your maps. I think it should work.. ![]() Sean PS. I added a process above that I went through with my wifes account and it seemed to work. You just need a Google acct. Edited by Unta on 01/19/2011 9:33 PM Sean Harrington

Back in the day a fellow by the name of Danny McNulty started a map for were the alt.coffee folks were. Back when a.c was friendly place to be. http://www.twoloo...y/map.html Alas Danny passed away but Steve Ackman of Twoloons has continued to host the page. If I am not mistaken there are a couple of HRO folk on that map. I added myself to the HRO map Rob vL NZ Edited by seedlings on 01/20/2011 8:11 AM VBM Minimax 2gp, 1gp Reneka Techno, 2 gp la Pavoni Pub, la Cimbali M28, SJ Maz, FB 6kg HM roaster and other stuff

Great idea Sean! I'm officially on the map now. Can you see if you can add a feature to our HRO map. I'd like to be able to scan the map and identify coffee roasting smoke. Should be possible with these new hi-tech satellites they keep launching. This way I could locate other home roasters in my area since in my area they seem to hide out.:trink29: 1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana

You need to be logged into your google account to edit info..I would try to use your browser rather then the map app. other then that, I couldn't figure out anything using the Map app on my droid X either. Sean Sean Harrington
