Nesco Roaster

1/4 Pounder Posts: 101 Joined: April 01, 2009	I just bought a Nesco roaster and was using it for the first time today. It did an amazing job, can roast inside and no smoke. I bought it for winter because I usually have to roast outside. All of a sudden my wife starts yelling at me that it is making her cough and she is going nuts. Eventhough there was no smoke and I didn't set the smoke detector off it was really bothering her. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe she is alergic to the smell of coffee our something. She drinks a lot of coffee. Looks like I am back outside even in the winter. Jim Lyon Jim's Coffee Beans

1 1/2 Pounder Posts: 1128 Joined: February 10, 2011	Yes, even though the after-burner removes some particles, it still puts out a lot of vapor..we moved it to the garage.. All roasters need some venting.. No oil on my beans...
