Newbie Posts: 38 Joined: March 02, 2012	Am in the process of building my first roaster using a modified Poppery with a 3" Pyrex chamber.... I know I can run this outdoors but still would like to have something that contains the chaff without hurting the air flow.... Was thinking something like a modified strainer but am sure that given the creativity I've seen in some of the designs here that someone has come up with some pretty cool solutions so figured I'd ask....:BowDown: Edited by Bob J on 03/20/2012 7:36 AM

Newbie Posts: 14 Joined: November 17, 2011	For my popper, I simply used a spare gutter elbow and some wire screen I had laying around in the garage. I nipped/tucked the end to fit snug over my chimney. The reason for the elbow was to direct the airflow horizontally into my screen basket on the other end of the gutter. The basket is removable for easy cleaning!!!

1 1/2 Pounder Posts: 860 Joined: February 14, 2011	I used to use 3" aluminum flex duct from the chimney to a "T" duct fitting. The bottom of the T had a ball jar taped to it and the top of the T was covered by screen.
