Thanks for the addition to the group. Seriously considering building a drum roaster along the lines of oldgrumpus's. Love the design and craftsmanship.

which roaster guys...

I want to buy a Gene Cafe CBR-101 but I am having a hard time differentiating between the CBR-101 and CBR-101A.

I have done a lot of searching but nearly no one has used CBR-101A. So could you please help me with that?

I want to know about the capacity, the weight of the roasters?

Thanks so much

I received the above from Nicole, a new member. Gene Cafe users can you help out Nicole?

tanks in advance,

I'd call Tim at Fresh Beans ... is is the importer of the Gene Cafe .. ansd should know the difference.

The Pnone number (or email) is on this page

The only changes I know is they now have a red version and the large chaff collector is standard. When I look at the picture given ... looks kust like mine (bought in Nov from SM - but mine says CBR-101 no A )) ...

I have no idea either, and calling Park City sounds like the thing to do. Here is a cutting from the sales brochure for the UK item.

Product-Name: Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster 101A 240V with Large Chaff Collector - Black

I suspect that the 101A refers to the 240 volt model?
