Attention! HRO has launched a new forum titled ?Electric and Gas Heat Sources? and its purpose is to give us a place to discuss the electric or gas apparatuses we use to produce the heat in our roasters and how best to design, install and get the most out of them. Examples: Nichrome coil winding onto a ceramic former, suitable housings for nichrome elements, formulas for figuring watt density, ceramic infrared heating elements and how to utilize them. How I used this or that electric element in my build. Gas burner design tips, torch burners, ceramic infrared burners, figuring orifice sizes for a given BTU output, means of controlling my gas burner using solenoids, motorized gas valves, proportional solenoid valves, interface driver boards for powering my gas burner valve etc... Our hopes are that this will give you a specific place to post and find information relating to your roaster heat sources and not intended to be a running list of heating related parts suppliers. For finding suppliers for this as well as many other roaster building related parts see: http://forum.home...post_34577 Your HRO Admin Team Edited by allenb on 08/18/2013 11:12 PM 1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana
