Why is the Poppery I preferred?

1/4 Pounder Posts: 68 Joined: September 12, 2013	I read in the past that the Poppery I is preferred over the Poppery II in regards to the power rating of each of these poppers. Can someone explain why? What are the limitations of the Poppery II compared to the Poppery I? Thanks! Edited by brennn on 09/17/2013 9:21 AM

1 1/2 Pounder Posts: 925 Joined: March 03, 2011	Poppery I does not have the internal transformer. (I think) so it has a 120 v heater and fan. If memory serves, I is 1500w II is 1200w or 1250w. Newbie Posts: 38 Joined: March 02, 2012	Agree with snwcmpr..... 120V fan and 1500 watts (vs PII 1200) are the main things.... The 120V AC fan (vs PII rectified DC fan) makes it much easier to separate the heater element from the fan circuit....
