Hello from Kansas City
boris
I've been stumbling around the internet looking for roasting tips for building a roaster for months, finding this site was a wonderful surprise!

A little about me: I'm 27, an engineer, and hopeless coffee addict. Light roasts are my favorite, and I tend to enjoy natural processed beans from Africa the most. I generally look for the most acidic coffee I can find; balance in a cup means nothing to me!

I've joined the forum to get tips and ideas on building a fluid bed air roaster. I'm starting to get parts, and will make a thread in the fluid bed roaster forum to document my progress later. I'm greatly encouraged by how many good looking rigs people have built on this forum!

I have been absent from this forum for a long time, but I am also in the KC metro area (Liberty). I'm an RK Drum roaster and I built a unique large capacity down draft bean cooler. There are a couple of other homeroasters-run-amok in the KC area that I go in on occasional bean buys. If you're interested, drop me an e-mail to j i m s j a v a atsymbol sbcglobal.net

Live in Platte City here. Have not run into too many Home Roasters here. I am a big Happy Mug fan! Any Hottop Users out there in KC Land??
