I have been trying Scott Rao Hario V60 pourover this week. 1:17 and blooming with 2 parts water the first 45 seconds then splitting the rest into 2 pours. A little stirring is included. We like it.

My brew ratio is 1:17 (exactly 59.5 g/L). That's roughly 8.5g per 5-oz cup.

I'm looking to hire someone to teach/help me to find the best roast profile for the 3 types of coffee that grow on my farm in nicaragua. I live in LA, but but could go anywhere in so cal with my Behmor for a roasting lesson. Please contact me if you're in

When your wife thinks 30 grams for a 6 cup setting is strong, you learn to drink muddy water when you are making coffee for both of you.

I use a rule of thumb of 60 grams per liter. 8 cups (1 liter, 32 oz) = 60 grams, 6 cups (3/4 liter, 24 oz) = 45 grams. 10 cups = 75 grams 12 cups = 90 grams

Artisan - "Program"-temperature hardware configuration
AlphaRay
Hello,

i've bought two USB Thermocouple meters and trying to use these for Artisan.
Before i make a program which writes automatically the real temperature i will have running a testfile.

I created manually a file with two temperatures and selected this in the configuration. But when starting nothing changes - all temps are at 0.0

The testfile ist like the sample: xxx.x,xxx.x + Enter

I've followed the instrucions of the help, like on the two screenshots here at "

Updated: Select external program to provide temperatures":
coffeetroupe.com/artisandocs/top-menu/

What is the mistake?

Greetings
Paul

I think crossposting is not appropriate here. Anyhow, Artisan expects a program here, as documented, not a text file. This can be spotted quite easily by checking the Artisan source. Should be simple for experienced programmers like you. Otherwise, just follow the instructions closely and you cannot fail.

Aaah...i think i understand! The sample was an python file which prints two temperatures. I thought this is an sample pyhton code to generate a temperature file - not the file itself.
Python is not my language, but ich can take a look at the code :)

Thank you!
