I commented about the chaff we see coming from the front of the machine during the YouTube video of the roaster. He replied: Quote The chaffs you see coming out from the front is on purpose. Normally on big roasters, there is a small tray in the front to collect the chaffs that falls out between the drum and door. On the bullet, these chaffs will exit into the bean cooling tray. On a related note, here is a his comment regarding chaff: Quote Maintenance: Empty the chaff collector every 2-3 KG, and likewise empty the filter at the cooling tray. Every 40KG its recommended to vacuum out the front of the drum, as there might be a few chaffs there |
