Just wondering what the main body of your roaster weighs given the gauge of steel you used ? |

Allen, thank you very much! There will be a V2 in time that will be much better documented and hopefully with some better metal working. What I would give for a lathe and CNC machine!! I will be sure to take a video soon with some in operation footage and I f anyone is ever in the Riverside County area (California) I'll gladly show them around (and show you a 120 kilo Gothot if they'd like!) dmccallum, the roaster has a few different gauges going on. The front and rear plate are 1/4 in thick while the outer drum (structural) is 12ga and the inner drum (beans) is 10ga. Both drums are just electrically welded stock bought off discountsteel. The other pieces are assorted 16-22 gauge from the local metal shop. Usually thinner for easy working! |

Well that's useful too, but actually I was curious as to the total mass of the machine in lb/kg's if you'd gone to the trouble of weighing it? |
