The control panel on my older (button type probe) control panel is getting "wonky" and it now takes a couple of presses to get it to change. If anyone has upgraded to a newer + model and has an older B model control panel I would be interested in getting it from you as these are no longer available through Hottop :( I would consider a button type thermocouple or a P model control panel since I run the roaster with TC4C and Artisan so the only thing I would use the control panel for would be power on and eject. Easiest way to determine if you have the older type is it will not have a K in the model designation (K designates the k type probe) and you would have had the older style button probe (flat against the rear wall not protruding into the chamber). I would even consider the newer K type panel and modify my probe to the newer style (last choice but doable for me) thanks everyone!!!! Well it appears that I am no longer in the market for a replacement controller board. Yesterday I took the panel out and removed the PCB. "Hosed" it off with alcohol, then sprayed the buttons with GC tuner cleaner/lube and "exercised the buttons (pushed them endless times), then another bath in alcohol to remove any residual lube. I just came back inside after doing two back to back roasts and everything functioned perfectly. I guess I will need to use the hottop for a number of roasts to make sure this fix "sticks" I recall having to do this a number of years ago when I purchased the hottop (used). I'll post about the cleaning in the general area (not in the for sale) so no need to respond or continue this thread. Thanks to all who responded to my WTB.
