I love mine. It is the SR500 and does very well. I have a different "dry out" routine that works very well. Let me know if you want to know what I do.

Happy Holidays to you and everyone here.

Sorry everyone about disappearing! I am just getting over the head/chest cold...it is just hanging on like a tick! Hoping nobody else get it, it starts in the throat, moves into the chest, then the sinuses & ears..good golly thumbdown

I watched the beans moving in the glass tube, and I did notice that in one spot in the back, the beans seemed to get caught up more than anywhere else. I didn't notice anything they might be getting caught on, and already my brain started thinking of mods O.O I really cannot do much to it, and nothing visibly since it was a gift you know ;-D

Anyway, I did one roast following the directions in the box the other day, and it didn't roast as even as I had hoped. Then I thought about what MPSAN had said about adding a drying time. The booklet that comes with the machine just goes right into roasting....so, I'm sure with a dry cycle, the beans would roast more evenly! I think I will try it today using MPSAN's method ThumbsUp
