I, like some others, do not do facebook. Can you give a bit of details?? Their blog has not been updated since 2014, and the sales distributors do not seem to be in the US. I probably will not afford one, but I am a bit interested in it. --------------

Thanks Mick. Ginny, I should have said I have nothing to do with Facebook, at all, but I thought I would say it in a nice way. I tried. --------------

I have way too much going on in my life to deal with social media I also I feel that I am not so important that I need a web page only about ME.... (look at me.... look at me.... aren't I cool? Ken, not an issue for me at all and I actually could care less if anyone likes or dislikes FB or any other social media. as far as I am concerned it is simply personal choice just like a roaster or grinder... ginny |

I was there, but with the Allio not having a trier, and it being designed to be more automated I decided for the North. |

I applaud everyone for waiting so long and I hope it ships and is everything I thought it would be. I am looking forward to hearing the reviews. Thrilled also that I went with the North from Mill City...LIVING THE DREAM! NEC ASPERA TERRENT

Thrilled also that I went with the North from Mill City...LIVING THE DREAM! I would be on the R1 bandwagon but like you, I ended up with a small commercial coffee roaster and never looked back. I still "dabble" with my modified hottop and recently was gifted a Behmor 1600 that I am restoring and updating to a + model BUT..... I found out that once I took the plunge into the commercial coffee roaster world I finally understood what it is all about. The two home coffee roasters I own are there just to keep my feet firmly planted on the ground and to keep me on the same page with those who were so helpful to me when I started this hobby years ago. It is these two home roasting machines that make me realize that I can help others as I have been helped, rather than "degenerate" into a coffee roasting snob. . this has been taken to: http://forum.home...post_59417 for me upgrading to a small commercial roaster is a matter of the cost as I only roast for myself and the Hot Top and Quest do a beautiful job of roasting with my help... -g plus I roast upstairs and if I got a bigger roaster I would need to go to the basement but maybe I will sell the HT and Quest and buy a North... why not? what did you guys pay for your new toy's??
