Anyone experience an occasional "misfire" roast?
CharcoalRoaster
So I've logged 100+ roasts on my GeneCafe. As soon as I got it I replaced the heating element so it's relatively new. However, everyone 20th roast or so - whether its a stand alone or last in a series of back to back roasts - its almost as if the roaster never comes up to the correct temp and my roast doesn't even make it to yellow in a 14 min profile with a 3 min warm up.

My usual methodology is to let the GC warm up without beans for 12 min. I e-stop it add beans and progress through my roast profile. Typically, its a 3-4min warming around 385 then full blast to the end (usually 12-14 min). I mess with profiles in between so don't read me so literally here people :-)

Anyway, yesterday evening I went to roast following the same procedures with an outside temp of 95* and everything seemed cool until after the warm up stage when I watched the beans not even get the chance to stall bc they never got to roasting in the first place.

Anyone experience this on their GC before?
