Actually, it's a fairly simple circuit to make your own if you have any electronic/soldering skills at all. I think the one Jim uses is just a copy of one someone has posted. This one is very similar to his and I could probably find a schematic like his. http://www.dextrel.net/diyzerocrosser.htm His uses the 4N35 Optocoupler His uses a lot of surface mounted components so some of them are a little different but it's almost this same schematic. Actually, I just went and looked on his web site. He has a schematic there and that is the same one he has the schematic for. The one he is selling now is a little different as far as components though because as I mentioned, the one he has now has a lot of surface mounted components but you can easily build the one in the first post and it should work just fine, it's almost identical (if not identical) to his schematic. |
