I have been trying Scott Rao Hario V60 pourover this week. 1:17 and blooming with 2 parts water the first 45 seconds then splitting the rest into 2 pours. A little stirring is included. We like it.

My brew ratio is 1:17 (exactly 59.5 g/L). That's roughly 8.5g per 5-oz cup.

I'm looking to hire someone to teach/help me to find the best roast profile for the 3 types of coffee that grow on my farm in nicaragua. I live in LA, but but could go anywhere in so cal with my Behmor for a roasting lesson. Please contact me if you're in

When your wife thinks 30 grams for a 6 cup setting is strong, you learn to drink muddy water when you are making coffee for both of you.

I use a rule of thumb of 60 grams per liter. 8 cups (1 liter, 32 oz) = 60 grams, 6 cups (3/4 liter, 24 oz) = 45 grams. 10 cups = 75 grams 12 cups = 90 grams

Hi, if you have a TC4C, I'm looking for the TC4C, zero cross detector, and LCD... seems the order page isn't working yet and August has come and gone :(

please let me know if you have one you can part with!

PM me here, or email direct at: [email protected] (nights) or [email protected] (days)

Did not realize it was not available. Looks like he should be back around now.

I need to get a second one for my other roaster. Too much hassle to move the single one I have back and forth between machines.

Actually, it's a fairly simple circuit to make your own if you have any electronic/soldering skills at all. I think the one Jim uses is just a copy of one someone has posted. This one is very similar to his and I could probably find a schematic like his. His uses the 4N35 Optocoupler

His uses a lot of surface mounted components so some of them are a little different but it's almost this same schematic.

Actually, I just went and looked on his web site. He has a schematic there and that is the same one he has the schematic for. The one he is selling now is a little different as far as components though because as I mentioned, the one he has now has a lot of surface mounted components but you can easily build the one in the first post and it should work just fine, it's almost identical (if not identical) to his schematic.
