Thanks for the addition to the group. Seriously considering building a drum roaster along the lines of oldgrumpus's. Love the design and craftsmanship.

Installed Artisan on Fedora 24/25 linux
In case it can help, here's how I got Artisan installed on AMD-64 Fedora linux systems. The steps include using an rpm rebuild tool after reading this:

artisan-linux-1.0.0_x86_64.rpm ( I never got x64 running)
tried installing:
dnf install /path/to/downloaded/artisan-linux-1.0.0_i386.rpm
for either version, error messages suggest conflicts between:
and 'filesystem'

( see

dnf install rpmrebuild ( if not already installed)

rpmrebuild -e -p /path/to/downloaded/artisan-linux-1.0.0_xxx.rpm
will open a vi session on the spec file
In the '%files' section remove these lines:
%dir %attr(0755, root, root) "/"
%dir %attr(0755, root, root) "/usr/bin"
Save and close, type: Esc :wq
and reply 'y' to the prompt
The rebuilt rpm should be in /home/yourHome/rpmbuild/RPMS/i386 ../../RPMS/x86_64

Then I installed rebuilt rpms,
x86_64 fails with Qt plugin xcb reporting wrong version 1.2.8 pf zlib, required:
i386 version of the rebuilt rpm loads and runs OK

Thanks for reporting on the build issue. I checked and indeed there seems to be something wrong with the v1.0 64bit linux builds. I just reworked those and uploaded new builds. Hope those work better.
