Single Bean Roaster - Bollinger
Dan
Get perfect profiles, bean to bean. Only 200 roasts needed for a cup of coffee.

Yeah, I know, this is inelligible for the contest, but thought you'd enjoy this. (image 500x321, 29kb)

Jeffo
How much water would be used to brew that?

TimEggers
My concern would be cooling! Many how do you cool such a hefty batch size at home?:( Shock B)

Dan
Jeffo, I roast 200 beans and then brew one cup. c:1 Of course the trick is to get the 200th bean roasted before the first beans go stale.

Tim, Cooling is a cinch, just blow on it two or three times.

Yeah...I was joking...

(you actually roast with this thing)?

Dan
Of course I roast with it! You think I'm joking?

I see you totally neglected chaff collection, so here?s a nice lil usb vac for ya. Handy, as I imagine you?ll be plotting the roasting profiles in Excel on your laptop.

LOL! Cute little vac. For me, chaff control is just an occasional sneeze. ;) Oh, solid brass construction, too.

I made that one rainy weekend about three years ago. I've just been waiting for the right time to unveil my dimunitive masterpiece. The knob is knurled, and I wound that spring myself. I couldn't find a candle that small. Chaffing dish candles are larger then the entire roaster! So, I put a candle in my metal lathe and turned it down.

Give a guy a lathe and a milling machine - - you gotta expect him to start building his own 'Reality' :( ......sooner or later. s:2

I can't find the link to the demonstrational video!

It goes without saying that you have intellectual rights (per article 10).

Tasty stuff!

You need to add a 1" square of foil or something for a diffuser, you don't want to scorch that bean!

Dan
LOL! Funny, funny guys. s:8

I wanna see the 9 bar eyedropper and 1/100th tasse cup and saucer.
hehehe

Dan
How did you know I was building a one-bean espresso machine! Dang. Can't keep a secret around here.

I will say, it is perfect for traveling. Just put in your pocket or clip to your key-chain.

MarkBart
Is that an esspresso stain on your pocket or are you . . .(fill in the blank as you see fit).

Here is the best accessory for the nano roaster, the nano brewer:

The filter was cut from a chemex filter (and folded the same way), the kettle is a little pot I made in a kids pottery class years ago, same with the little dripper ( it's made of extra thick ceramic to maintain temperature while brewing haha).
