A classic film. The book is also a good read. It has been quiet here lately. ---Jack

Quote If I am not mistaken, "Last Man On Earth" was the precursor to "Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston and most recent "I Am Legend" with Will Smith. I never saw Last Man On Earth or Omega Man, but I did enjoy I Am Legend. I guess I need to see the other 2. The book was written by Richard Matheson. A short read only 160 pages.

Quote He was obviously evaluating a recent roast. 9. "As the brew approaches room temperature (below 100? F), rate sweetness, uniformity, and clean cup". 1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana

Quote He was obviously evaluating a recent roast. Doubtful; that funky gas generator could barely operate the lone light bulb and that ancient percolator at the same time, let along crank out 18 amps for a decent sized fluid bed roaster. And for that matter he would needed at least a three-year supply of greens. I think he was picking up cans of Maxwell House from old, defunct supermarket stock. Wouldn't make much difference anyway with his brewing method. Your perception did make me wonder, though, if another sequel might be "Last Home Roaster on Earth" where the guy keeps checking for new posts on the Homeroasters.org site every day in vain and finally resorts to posting links to ancient full-length features in which he identifies with the protagonist. So many beans; so little time.... |

I am glad the youtube tag now works. The only way to get it to work was to use the full link to the video and the url tags. Thanks! ---Jack

It's the beauty of Hollywood.
