Not sure what their values are though. The values aren't shown on the v6 schematic. You might have to get someone with a v6 board to measure but their probably not critical. |

Looks like caps to ground are on the V6.0 TC4 board only. The TC4C schematic shows 10K resistors as optional ground isolators. My TC4C has open pads to add resistors to ground if needed. It is possible this is for ground loop problems with sheathed probes he had in the past.

From Jim I have two boards version 5.30, but Pads for resistors are unused. Viliam

Quote From this image http://www.mlgp-llc.com/arduino/public/TC4_v6_SMD.jpg It seems that they are unused in v6 too. Am i right? |

That could well be the case. The picture for the 'built' version also has them unpopulated. I'd use 10nF if I had to guess though. Are you doing a schematic for a V6.00 board? |

The V4.0 board was the only version that Jim approved of as open source which is why the gerber files were included. I have a complete build with instructions and step by step testing posted here with his approval. The newer versions of the TC4 shield and TC4C are copyrighted. Are the boards marked? I have 3 boards (the old kit build). One complete with arduino uno in a acrylic case, one with the SMT on them the other bare board with bag of parts. Unfortunately I have a complete 2 probe build with HTC board, back wall with BT/ET probes, custom high temp (cool down) over-ride, and all other parts in another state. I upgraded my custom Hottop to a B2-K+ factory model when the old B control panel died and I could not find a replacement. I have the boards packed to go with me when we leave and once I get the whole thing in one place I planned on listing them for sale in the trading forum. NO ONE CONTACT ME about these as they are NOT FOR SALE until I have everything in one place to sell. I have no interest in parting this complete BT/ET build out. Thanks Jack. Everything is packed for the trip this week. I'm sure they are V-4 as I got them a few years ago (2013/2014 or so). Just have to wait until we get there and unpack.

Doesn't the CC-BY license allow anyone to build and sell as long as they credit the original creator? |

You can all do whatever you want. We went through all of this the last time the TC4 boards were unavailable in 2013. ---Jack

I named the board version 6.01, so far it's only drawn, not tested. If you want, get it done, here you have gerber files:

Does anyone know what happened to Jim as he is not responding. I emailed him multiple times over the last two months and have heard nothing back. |
