Here's my alternative chaff collector. It worked perfectly with very close to 100% captured. Sometimes the simple option is best.

Hmmm... chaff is not only flakes, but a lot of dust too, almost flour. I would place this sieve inside of an... "expansion" recipient, or at least inside an exhaust tube. Will see what mess will build inside that tube, even in one month... |

True, the smaller dusty bits could get through but I'm not too worried about that. I roast on the verandah of my apartment and just want to stop the larger visible chaff from drifting down onto verandahs below. |
