Here's my alternative chaff collector. It worked perfectly with very close to 100% captured. Sometimes the simple option is best.

Hmmm... chaff is not only flakes, but a lot of dust too, almost flour.
I would place this sieve inside of an... "expansion" recipient, or at least inside an exhaust tube.
Will see what mess will build inside that tube, even in one month...

True, the smaller dusty bits could get through but I'm not too worried about that. I roast on the verandah of my apartment and just want to stop the larger visible chaff from drifting down onto verandahs below.
