Hi-Temp blower fans
Thirstyboots
Anyone know of small hi-temp blower fans in the 50-70cfm range? Dayton sells a fan but it?s too big for my application.
Thank you

What make a fan hi-temp ?
If it is full metal, and not using magnets, which are sensitive above 120 C, could this qualify as hi-temp ?
Any bushing/bearing special requirement ?

For example I bought this 80 cfm blower, for a cyclone project, not yet started, so no feedback so far:

Basically two similar fans from Dayton but one is rated for hi temp inlet of 450 degrees f where the other is only rated at 110f. If I?m sucking air from drum I?m afraid air will be too hot for the lesser fan?

The lower temp version has "Housing Finish Enamel", the hi temp finish is "Flat", whatever it means... perhaps black oxide... that paint that could be the limiting factor... just a guess...
