I have a questions.. im trying to experiment with riasting.. i roasted 3 cup of nicaraguan at 200 degrees for 1 hr and 30 min.. is that to long?

Happy to be on board.

I am a tiny roast person as I seldom have guests and live alone. I roast 1 pound and that is good enough for me. Sometimes I roast decaf too. I use a hand crank popcorn popper with a drill to turn it. My cooling, chaff removal and inspection is a tray but I am working on a bucket cooler with a fan to aid in the cooling but will use a tray for inspection, chaff pretty much stays in the roaster. I have an Espresso machine but think pour over and siphon methods are good too. That is what guests get if they can not drink Espresso without milk.

Thanks Jack. Actually it is a stainless steel Back to Basics Whirley-Pop style propelled with a drill. I have been using the Whirley pop for a long time. I just started a thread (see link) about it as I am moving to a Victorio hand crank popper because the WP lid is missing a couple of clips and it is impossible to secure it without repairs.
