Ask for your opinion.

Dear All,

I would like to kindly ask for your opinion about this design.
How much coffee could I roast with these dimensions, with a heat power of 4kw and a blower ametek?
The lower part of the chamber is at 45?..do you think it would be better to have it at 60??
Are the holes of the plate enough?

Many thanks for your help.

45 degrees is fine, it doesn't need to be steeper. With 4kw you should be able to do at least 5 lb. I was doing 5 lb. at about that wattage with a spouting air roaster. Yours being fluid bed you should be able to do that. The main issue you will have is to be sure your blower provides enough pressure to create a good fluid bed. My spout was a bit different, it didn't need a heck of alot of pressure do do its spout.
