Induction Heating Element
CharcoalRoaster
Someone gave us an induction hot plate that we didn't need so I scrapped it for parts like any good DIYer!BBQ grill

I pulled an 18v fan, some sheets of mica, and a 1800w 120v heating element.

What can I do with this heating element? Is there anything special about it or anything in particular I should know/be aware of?

Check Bullet R1 roaster teardown/build articles, it is done using induction heating directly on drum.
Obviously drum have to be made from a steel with magnetic properties Grin
And the heating element, which is a coil, have to be bended/molded, to match the drum curvature, as is in Bullet R1.

PS: Now, this time, you could have here the seeds of a wonderful project, much more exciting than the ceramic band heaters on FB Grin
