Capresso On-The-Go
DrHenley
Because some things you just can't leave to chance. LOL No more nasty motel coffee for me.

My travel coffeemaker: a Capresso On-The-Go single cup drip coffeemaker. It can use pods, or an included mesh filter, or paper filters. I use #2 paper filters stuffed down in the little basket. A 20 ounce Yeti Rambler tumbler works perfectly - better than the included tumbler. I use the Oregon Trail knockoff which fits my car cupholder and the Yeti doesn't. This little coffeemaker makes better coffee than most big drip makers.

Here is how I travel with it.
The jar is my measuring cup. Fill to the top of the label twice makes a full cup. I generally make caf? au lait, so I fill to the top of the label with milk, nuke it and pour into the tumbler, then rinse out and fill to the top of the label with filtered water and pour into the coffee maker. The steel measuring cup is 1/3 cup which is how much ground coffee I use per cup.

I have been pre-grinding coffee before leaving home, but I'm about to start using an Aoleye Manual Coffee Grinder.

Very nice setup...

Well, the Aoleye grinder came in, and although it's a nifty little grinder that fits in the travel bin with the coffeemaker easily, it's not big enough to hold 1/3 cup of beans in the top hopper. Odd because the bottom hopper is big enough. And while it makes a good grind, it takes forever.
