Hi all. My name is Bill. I?ve been roasting coffee on my Fresh Roast 500 for about 3 years now . I really just got serious about roasting techniques and just added a regular candy thermometer that I poked through the screening on the chaff collector so I can monitor my temperatures while roasting. I?ve also been watching a lot of YouTube videos about professional roasting to better grasp what exactly I?m trying to accomplish. By keeping a log my roasts ,grind size and brewing methods the resulting cups of coffee have really gotten much better.
