I am eagerly awaiting my Hive Roaster with the data dome - will be here next week. I am brand new to roasting and am excited to get some hands on experience with the process; I feel the hive can give me that. However, if things progress well and I get hooked by this time next year I may upgrade to a higher capacity system.

Hello All, John from El Paso here. I've been using a SCTO for about 15 years, just upgraded my coffee equipment and looking to upgrade my roasting equipment as well. Have always loved using the SCTO (I've gone through 2 sets of ovens and stirrers) and looking at maybe building a KKTO type roaster to increase my capacity a bit.
