I purchased the BocaBoca 250. I have long wanted to roast my own beans but time has not permitted until now. Coupled with the uncertain supplies from our local Whole Foods and a Xmas gift of home roasted beans.... I was inspired to get roasting. I burnt my first 225G of Beans, learned from a procedural failure on my second and was successful with my 3rd and 4th roast where I am today. Not knowing any better, I am pleased with my purchase.
We have been enjoying home extracted Cappuccinos since 1998 beginning with Superautomaticas and graduating to Heat Exchanger Machines about 8 years ago.We additionally have a French Press as back up.
Interested to hear more about Boca Boca machine, in a separate thread.
Curious to hear how is solved the chaff and smoke issue, in a somewhat closed roasting chamber, with little airflow, as is Boca Boca.
Happy to share my experience but will need direction to the separate thread you request.
