Presenting The LPK Method
progen
Humans have been around for a pretty long time and it's hard to be original. I did notice there were experiments on using ultrasonic transducers in coffee brewing but here's my method.

If it makes good cold brew in 11 minutes why not! Filtering clean up and a more compact setup would be things I looked at.

How much agitation is needed? Do they make an ultrasonic base with those bean stir devices (Don't know the right name). Would that agitate it enough.

Filtering, allow to settle and siphon off the coffee then a finer filter on a french press if needed? Then would it be to much of a cleaning issue?

For me the cold brew overnight in the Breville precision brewer then add a cold shot of espresso makes a ok cold brew, clean up is toss the filter and grounds, then rinse the basket. I'm sleeping when I'm brewing.

At my previous place, the motor was just mounted directly to the kitchen cabinet. Look at the principle, don't harp on the setup. I was just recycling junk around the house.

If you're referring to a magnetic stirrer, no. Not enough surface area in the stirrer to create sufficient movement in the grounds. I forgot to add one piece of information in the video. That's a 200rpm motor which runs at 80 - 100% most of the time. I can tell from the frequency of the buzzing if it's too slow since it'll sound damped.

A typical French press sieve allows too much powder fine grounds through. I also have a Timemore French Press with fine holes which get clogged up pretty fast.

My setup is far from ideal but does the job and didn't cost a single cent to resurrect in the current place. The Chinese have a saying about pay one cent and you get one cent's worth. I paid nothing so that's why it looks like that. 😂

The coffee is highly versatile and goes well with many things which is why I'm thinking of upgrading to a 6l two transducer machine but the thought of the filtering. cross fingers

Lots of animals around the house but only a fish and kitten in the kitchen. Both seemed stoned as usual. 😂
