Hi all, newbie here from Ontario Canada. I’ve always used pre-grounded coffee (yeah….sorry about that) but recently I bought an espresso machine and read a lot about fresh roasted coffee beans and since I’ve always made my money with innovation (I am retired now), I decided to give it a go on a home-made roaster. This serves 2 goals for me, A- (hopefully) better coffee and B- it is a nice project for me to execute the different ideas I have on a lot (TOO MUCH) of subjects. I think I am on the right track and if so, I hope to show it all with my reasoning to do so in a future post. Cheers.

Welcome! Us retired folks are fortunate to indulge in such nonsense, isn't it great? Please tell us a little more about what you have in mind for a roaster if you have any thoughts on that yet.
