Hey guys, I wanted to share something I've been working on for the past few months for fellow coffee-roasting nerds. After spending too much time switching between spreadsheets and notes to track my home roasting hobby (and seeing others do the same), I started tinkering away with a few friends to build PuckPrep - a simple platform to help manage roasting operations, whether you're roasting in your garage or running a small roastery.

Some features we've got so far:
  1. Track your green bean inventory
  2. Log and analyze your roasts
  3. Record cupping sessions
  4. Share your roasts with the public
  5. Desktop and mobile compatibility


We recently launched the open beta and would love to get feedback from this community. There's a generous free tier to try it out and see if it fits your workflow. This is very much a work in progress as we're actively building and improving based on user feedback.

Hey renatoa 👋 due to the integrated nature of the platform we require accounts for users so that they can maintain their own custom beans, inventory, tags, roasts, cuppings, etc. Without an account, this integration and platform-based approach would be impossible...or at least not very secure confused

Exactly that was my suggestion, to create a no login demo version.
Personally I don't want inventory, but to evaluate how this app would help for roasting.
This is the forum main focus, home roasting, where we don't keep tons of beans, to push unnecessary on commercial features.

Gotcha, ya I hear you; different workflows for different roasters. I personally like to keep track of all my inventory even though I only have about 20 pounds between 7 or 8 different beans, to each their own. Just putting this out here for people to play around with if they're interested smile
