11. View of the beans: Set of pyrex watch glasses between a pair of jumbo washers. Held in place by magnets in the face of the roaster. Washers are ferrous. Magnets facilitate easy removal and cleaning as needed. |

I picked up a pair of jumbo washers as speced put above. They are without any holes so I test drilled one this weekend. As washers are supposedly meant to resist wear, I was a little fearful of how difficult they might be to drill. Worries were unfounded. Freehand drilling with a good carbide tip and they drilled out just fine. This is a good to go sign. |
