No Eddie, fire doesn't freeze at that temp. Actually that was just wind chill. The actual low was -10 overnight. The wind was what made it unroastable.

The wind chill in Missoula is -30. Where I live right by the Hellgate canyon it is probably into the -50's Screaming winds.
