I am looking for some information about Fluid-o-Tech pumps. I replaced the ULKA pump in my Faema C85S/1 with a Fluid-o-Tech 1106 pump with relief valve. According to their literature the relief valve on this pump is set at 10 bar. The pump is direct connected to the water line with a pressure regulator set for 30 psi which is their recommended maximum. Putting a pressure gauge on my portafilter, 6 bar is the maximum pressure I can get. Can the relief valve be adjusted to increase the pressure? Nothing in any literature I could find was related to increasing or decreasing the setting of the relief valve. Is this only factory adjustable. I have contacted the USA factory rep but have not had a reply as of yet. |

I spent just a few minutes on Google . The 1106 seems to be a reciprocating pump. If that is true, it does not appear to be adjustable. The rotary vane pumps from that company are adjustable. Post a pic of that pump if have any other questions. Cheers, Scott |
