Profile, Bean Temperature: Preheat to 450F, dump beans Min 1 - 160F 2 - 181F 3 - 210F 4 - 235F 5 - 255F 6 - 277F 7 - 298F 8 - 316F aroma starts 9 - 331F 10 - 345F 11 - 365F 12 - 387F 13 - 408F first crack starts 14 - 417F 15 - 424F first crack complete 15:30 16 - 435F pull 16:30 17 - cooled in a minute My goal was City+. The temperature might seem a bit high, but at a 1# charge of beans, my thermometer reads about 6 or 8 degrees high... see first crack came at 408F? Usually spot on at 400F. No Flash: Flash: Grounds - baker's cocoa, citrus zest, cracked pepper Hot Cup - toffee, noughat (like a 3 Musketeers bar), spice, occasional citrus in the background, medium body, nice finish vanilla and spice... kind of like those scented candles. Cool cup - more vanilla, sweet, spice is a bit stronger It reminds me of Indonesia spice, Kenya citrus, Central sweetness.
