The cement board is really easy to work with for me... you can see my cuts aren't perfect, but with 1/4" thickness, just add some silicone.

Now that it's been some time since the build, how's the silicone held up and is there a reason why the switch from the high-temp red rtv (used in prior builds) to the clear?

Halfway through a cement board heating element enclosure that will need to hold pressure from vac blower and considering the following products:
