Judging interest in a Nicaragua buy. The rep said it was good... any more I just trust them. I asked for the 'best' beans they had in KC and, since I wanted something different than Africa this time, here is an option. He said sweet with a nice bourbon kind of kick. If there are a few people interested, I'll pick up a bag and have 100# available. Last price quote was around $3.70/lb, but we talked about several coffees, so I'm asking for current price tomorrow. I hate to back out on my first bulk buy, but I just spent $30 at a local roaster, and I don't get any more allowance this month pay period. :( Hopefully someone else will pick up my 5 lbs. Incidentally, When I pick up my beans tomorrow, I'm meeting a manager from Zephyr who works at the New Orleans office. He's gonna take a tour of the facility of Orleans Coffee Exchange with me. Jessy
