I just posted a reply to the "Big energy coffee@ 7~11" thread and the forum took my reply and made it its own thread (no title).

I hit post reply and it said it couldn't connect to homeroasters.org. I hit my back button and tried again. Same error. Hit my back button and hit preview post. It showed my post. I hit submit and it submitted it as its own thread.

Weird......

not problem stripe kitty.

I have called our server folks and they are moving our forum to another server.

you go caught in a never ending loop; your lucky you got out before you were sucked into the pipeline.

I got a PM from allen and took care of it asap. don't worry about it, it happens.

back after weekend unless I get a free ticket to Paris in which case I will be gone for a couple of months but with wifi and iPad I can do my job if I have not stuffed myself with FRESH bread and some great white wine.

along with the ticket I will need a room:

the esmeralda was the first hotel I ever stayed in Paris and the wallpaper has been on the walls since the 17th c. - paid 45 US a night right across from Notre Dame.

now the

was the last place I stayed; the champagne was better at the Vendome and so was the art!. it did cost a bit more but when you take you mother as a thanks for all of the trips she took you on as as a kid, why not? the only thing i could not stand was the voice in the elevator saying good morning...

does not really matter when you can walk all day through the streets?

Good for you GinnyThumbsUp
I see that you are now in a position to enjoy the original caf? cr?me

Should you happen to be travelling a little further South... towards the French Riviera, I would highly recommend the following establishments:
La Villa [ http://www.hotel-villa-juan.com/ ] where the owner makes his own champagne, or
L' Aquabella [ http://www.aquabe... ]

Haven't been to the continent yet, just England, Ireland, Scotland, and Iceland. Was supposed to go to paris with a friend for his 50th because his partner didn't want to go, but that fell through. Another friend went and brought me back some wonderful wine (when she travels she brings me back a "local libation" - hawaii was a pound of green kona) that I had for bastille day.

My daughter just got back from Hawaii and handed me two 8 oz bags of coffee: one contained small Kona beans, the other large Hana beans. Both were already roasted because green beans were not readily available at the places she visited on Maui. I tried each separately, but I found them to be at their best when blended in my grinder.

Going off on a tangent: there's a place in Kihei on Maui that sells the mokka peaberry green. Ridiculously expensive, when I tried roasting it, the chocolate smell was intoxicating, the but flavor was very medicinal and had a chemical aftertaste.

Ginny, you dream of Paris, I'll dream of Honolulu, gimme warm surfing water with some loco moco, a mug of Kava over wine and bread.. well.. hmm.. no, no, nevermind, I'll take both thank you Grin
